Project Description
Saving Skills is a money planning and spending game designed to create opportunities of independence and develop life skills for special needs individuals. A player along with a family member or friend chooses meals and household items necessary for one week (adaptable) Through playing multiple rounds and choosing different options, players will see the effects on their savings at the end of the week, based on what items they bought. The goal of Saving Skills is to build up money and spend it on more important or longer lasting things, as opposed to spending the money immediately on a small item at the end of every week. This game can then be applied to real life situations when players are out and about.

Next Steps
My next steps include finishing my second prototype, deciding whether I want to include a 3d aspect with the food items, and creating a directions and further activities pamphlet, before moving onto my final.
