Inclusive Housing in Play
Grace & Reese
We created a two story commercial and residential building located in New York City. The first floor is a old fashioned pizza restaurant with a dining area and kitchen. On the second floor, there is a bedroom and an open patio. Lastly, on the top floor there is a roof deck with a garden and seating area.
Thesis:
Inclusive Housing in Play re-imagines the standard suburban family home dollhouse into incorporating different children's living situations. providing kids a toy that they can relate to.

Process to Final:
We started with a hand cut cardboard prototype, with some loose paper floor plans. Next we learned how to use rhino and created our second prototype using the laser cutter. this time we created a few furnishings, but mostly stuck to the actual structure. We finally fixed some bugs on our rhino document and reprinted the model as well as made the AR and decorative features.
