Detective On The Loose is a 2D mystery game. In the game, the player is a detective who is teleported into the house of a missing person. The goal of the game is to find out what happened. Throughout the game, as the player walks through the house they encounter cut scenes where the detective discovers clues. As the detective progresses through the game, they can use the clues they find to uncover new areas of the house with more clues. Detective On The Loose is visually inspired by the traditional aesthetic of the mystery genre with muted colors throughout the house. By the end of the game, you find the missing person and know who kidnapped them.
