Timewriter is a physical representation of time that uses tactile effort to create a connection between your actions and the passing of time. This wooden box with a leaning front is designed to imitate the switch wall of an airplane or a nuclear facility. 

During long periods of social isolation, for example, quarantine, time seems to lose meaning to many people, and the only way to know what day it is is to check a device. The Timewriter challenges that. Using 31 switches, and 12 LED's to represent all 365 days of the year, The Timewriter [gives users an easy, and tactile way to track time.] On each odd month, the switch is flipped on, while each even month's switch is flipped off. The Timewriter is intended to help people who need to have a physical representation of time and to create a more meaningful connection than just checking your phone.
