Urbeckz

Thesis
We're making a top-down 2d horror game. In it, you are an urban explorer taking photos of interesting things in an abandoned military base. You need to get out with the photos before the monster finds you.
Why
Our aim for this project is to improve our game development and collaboration skills, along with project planning, resource management, and communication.
Precedents
R.E.P.O.
Buckshot Roulette
Into The Pit
Test map
Beta gameplay
Blah Blah
Unused Assets
Throughout the project, we have made tons of assets. Unfortunately, not all of them made it into the game, so here are a few that we felt should be shown off even if they did not make it into the final product.
More Unused Assets
Animation/art
Iterations
The original plan was Martin and David coding, while Nikita made the art. Unfortunately, it would've been close to impossible to learn a whole new coding language with the time we had, and since David has prior coding knowledge, we decided he should be on coding duty. Nikita and Martin both worked on art for the majority of the project.
Reflections
David:
Nikita: I improved my pixelart skills, along with cooperating with peers and getting a working prototype. I think i could`ve communicated better to my group and i wish i had tried a bit harder to learn coding.
