Our project was a mechanism to help those who bench press heavier weights without a spotter. We have a mechanism to help lift the bar up so that it can get back to rest position; this will save many people from injuries and trouble.

Our problem was that athletes and body builders cannot push into higher weights by themselves without a spotter. So for those who like or have to work alone cannot push their limits. Our project will allow them to do whatever they feel they can without worrying about getting stuck and hurting themselves. Our project is a button on the bar that is connected to a circuit. The circuit connects a motor that runs by holding down the button. The motor is then attached to a pulley system which has a counter weight on it so that the weight pulls down. As the weight is pulling down, it will create a force to bring the bar up so that you can rack it. This project will make lifting safer and allow people to work on their own and better themselves with less of a risk.

Jayla and Bayli's Flower Base

Jayla Fairley

Today in class, we began making our flower bases. Bayli and I wonderfully split the work so that we could finish it in that class period. We finished comfortably within the time given. We just followed an tutorial on how make it and we went from there.  We used tools like trim and revolve etc. We sent it to the printers and will printing out next class.

The Final product is now done!!!!!

Jayla's Fusion Arduino Case

Jayla Fairley

Style fits everything, even Arduino's! I made an Arduino covering case using Fusion. Although, it took me quite a while to complete this project, it is great practice for learning how to use computers. It took a series of steps to first, extrude circles and connect platforms so that the electrical part of the Arduino can fit comfortably. However, I did not recieve much feeback concerning my project. For one, this particular assignment, I did most of the work at home so not much feedback was acquired. I was unable to ad the top holes because of the lack of arduino to size holes accurately. Other than that, this project was a huge success!

Jayla's Water Bottle

Jayla Fairley

Have you ever wanted to make your own water bottle? I made my own water bottle using Rhino and a tutorial. It was pretty simple to do the first part of the design, I just copied a picture of a water bottle and traced it. I got positive feedback every step of the way by teachers, fellow students, and family members. If I were to do this again, I would probably work on my shelling as well as changing it to have multiple colors. I tried multiple times to thin out the bottle but I finally regarded it as a "design". I also did not shell the edges because my computer did not let me, but it is still functional.
