Summer 2017 PreVu Program

PreVu is a studio-based experience to unleash young kids’ creativity and imagination.

This Summer, we are beginning the fourth season of PreVu, our kids program for young innovators. In each Studio, kids (ages 6-9) will be introduced to a real-world problem and use their creative problem solving, critical thinking, and innovation skills to make and build solutions. During the Studio, our young innovators will learn about the design process, new technologies, and various analog and digital tools (such as 3D printing and laser cutting) to create amazing work.

This Summer, we are offering two exciting two-week long Studios! In each Studio, NuVu Coaches will frame the challenge within a larger topic and encourage kids to develop their ideas through an iterative process over the course of the activity. Throughout the program, kids will enhance their problem solving, collaboration, and making skills, and with persistence, they will learn to think big and deeply about the world and people around them.

Sessions & Studio Offerings

The Summer 2017 PreVu Program includes two Studios. Each Studio is two weeks long. Students can attend one or both of the Studios. Each Studio takes place on weekdays, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 12pm. All Studios are open to kids ages 6 to 9. This is a drop-off program. Parents are required to remain off-site for the duration of the program.

Session 1: July 10-21, 2017
Session 2: July 24-August 4, 2017

Session 1: Jul 10-21, 2017
Session 2: Jul 24-Aug 4, 2017

During our Summer 2017 PreVu Program, we will be offering 2 unique Studios. Tuition for each two-week Studio is $950.  The tuition fee includes the cost of all the equipment and supplies that will be needed for kids’ projects. Transportation is not provided.

Student registration is processed on a first-come, first-served basis and guaranteed once families enroll and send their final payment. Families can register online through our online portal. A maximum of 15 students will be accepted for each studio. Because enrollment is limited, we recommend that you register and send your final payment as soon as possible.

A deposit of $200 per Session must accompany each registration, and can be paid online through NuVu’s website. Deposits are refundable only until May 1st, 2017, after which they become non-refundable. Credit cards are accepted for online deposits only.

Final payments must be made by check and received in full by June 1, 2017 otherwise the student’s spot will be forfeited to another student on the waitlist. After July 1, families can still register for Studios, but final payments must be made immediately after the online registration is completed.

Please make checks payable to NuVu. Include the name of the student and studio they are participating in on the check (e.g. Jane Smith, Sci-Fi Machines). Mail the check to:
