PreVu is a studio-based experience to unleash young kids’ creativity and imagination. This Winter, we are beginning the third season of our kids program for young innovators, ages 5-7. Each week, kids will be introduced to a real-world problem and use their creative problem solving and critical thinking skills to make and build solutions. In the process, our young innovators will learn about new technologies, robotics, and a number of digital tools, such as 3D printing, laser cutting and programming, to create amazing work.

What’s our theme for this Winter? Connections! Kids will explore the theme of Connections through a number of topics each week. From mapping objects to creating geared motion picture machines to coding an interactive game, kids will be making and designing each week! In each Studio, NuVu Coaches will frame the challenge within a larger topic and encourage kids to develop their ideas through an iterative process over the course of the activity. Throughout the program, kids will enhance their problem solving, collaboration, and making skills, and with persistence, they will learn to think big and deeply about the world and people around them.
