This week, bill and I split work. I focused on the creation of an app which allows the user to switch between screens. I am unsure what bill worked on, but he seemed diligent in his work. I am working on incorporating the app into the overall project, however we need to finish incorporation of speakers.

My NUVU Project for Spring of 2017 is called the "Music of Marble". We have been working diligently to create a musical masterpiece. Do you come home sometimes from a stressful day and just can not shake the stress? Our musical contraption may be able to help you. Our machines use the fun scientific aspects of a Rube Goldberg and combine it with music to soothe and entertain people whether they have had a good, bad, or stressful day. Wood tracks support have been created out of thin wood so that we can run paper across and provide a path for the marble. These supports will provide the guidelines that will provide the paper with the incline and turns needed for the marble to complete the track. This path will provide obstacles that when struck will create a noise and in the pattern hit will create a musical rhythm. When started creating our first prototype we used paper and adhered it to the wall using tape and string to create a temporary first track. From there we moved to the idea of having walls that act as supports that we can put our track on instead of attaching our track to a flat surface. During the second prototype, we thought of using the wood track that bends on top of the supports. Our final iteration we moved back to paper but kept the supports. Constructed from Wood, Paper, Lots of glue, and care, is going to be a project that stuns all. In the studio "Musical machines", our project has been shaped into something we never thought we could come through with.

This week, I worked on finishing up the app, so that it would be at complete functional levels.

I worked mainly on fixing a fault in the code which wouldn't allow the user to return to the home screen.

The app still needs a few final touches, but is almost at a completed state.

Next week, I will work to start the creation of the wood, and metal final project, which will incorporate the almost complete app.

The teacher said our box is too big so we need remake a box. The new size is 12’’x12’’x1. this week Mrs. Alderman also told us about bass bars. We can make a box, on the top of the box will be our string, and inside of the box which is under the string, then that could make the vibration more evenly and make sound more louder.

this week me, and selina worked on deciding what shapes would be best to use, and finding their ratios. We also started laser cutting our walls, and our board. So far we are waiting for our spools, and fishing line to come. we are using the spools to tune it so it tightens, and loosens.
