UPLOAD MEDIA
The Media Hub has four ways to upload media. The Media tab will show all of your content. You can upload images from the desktop by clicking to the right where it says "Upload".
The Camera tab will let you include images from the photo booth.
The Embed tab will let you place a video or image directly into the slide.
The Fetch tab is useful when dropping in images using the url.
ADD VIDEO TO SLIDE
Posts can now include video and image files in the same presentation.
From the Media Hub, simply click the “Upload Media” button to load a .mp4 or movie file. Once it is successfully uploaded, you can play it directly from your slide.
ADD IMAGE TO SLIDE
After selecting an image (pink border will show around the image), you can place the selected item(s) to a single slide or multiple slides.
Once it is on the slide, you can freely scale the image by selecting any corner.
Right click on the image to reveal other options.
Click on the bottom of the slide to include a caption in the "Add Caption" box.
UPLOAD MEDIA: FETCH
The Fetch tab is useful for uploading image files directly from your source. It reduces the need for downloading images into your desktop.
As you are browsing the web, simply right click on the image to 'Save Image URL'.
Also, notice the Image Size menu that appears when you select the image. You can crop and resize the image to be at a certain pixel size.
Make sure to cite your sources in the caption.
ADD MULTIPLE IMAGES TO SINGLE SLIDE
You can select several images to be placed into a single slide, allowing you to display relevant precedents collectively.
When you have more than three images selected on the slide, a new alignment menu will appear at the top. This will sort the images to align along the same edge.
Clicking on the corner of the image will allow you to scale the image. The background grid is useful for referencing and spacing.
You can group select images on the slide so that they can move together without changing the spacing or alignment.
TEXT EDITOR
Clicking on the Text Editor icon will drop a default text box onto your slide.
Double click the box to edit text.
Select the text to open up a text editor menu. Using these options you can easily resize, format, style and align based on your needs.
CREATE SLIDE FROM TEMPLATE
Once you’ve started a post and added your first slide, you will see an option to create slides from different templates.
Locate the thumbnail icon at the bottom left of the slideshow window. When you click on Add Slide From Template, you should see different options to choose from. Type into the text box to replace with your own. Drop in images into the gray boxes by simply clicking on Upload Image.

The Stand Assist:
An assistive device to bring more independence to the elderly by helping them stand up from a sitting position with more ease and comfort.
Modern society does not do enough to assist the elderly and care for their mental health, as much of the elderly population struggles with feelings of helplessness. The Stand Assist is designed to combat these issues and enable the elderly to feel empowered and independent. The Stand Assist was designed for a client named Prisilla, who was severely weakened by a seven month long coma. Due to her weakened muscles, she has extreme difficulty getting up from a chair. It can take her ten tries to fully stand up, as she attempts to build momentum and throw her body forward, catching herself on her walker. The device uses her momentum and then actuates to assist her to rise into the standing position. The design of the device is minimalist and elegant to appeal to a very proper Prisilla, who was reluctant at first to use an assistive device.
Although it was designed with Prisilla in mind, the Stand Assist is an assistive device that can empower many elderly people who struggle getting up. The improved design fits as two knee braces connected across the legs at the knee joint. The motors on the outside of each brace are started by a single switch, which straightens the braces until they are fully extended, pushing the user from a sitting position to a standing position.
