This week in Nuvu I worked on scaling the model up and down and finally decided to use the 1:4 ratio. Dividing all of the realistic measurements by 4, I scaled the model down. I also worked on the blades and resizing them, the file is found above and I will print them next week. The ratchet needs to be 3D printed because the wood is wearing down from where it spins. Next week, I will work on recutting/printing everything and starting to build it. I also need to figure out how the top blades spin around a PVC pipe while others stay on the dowel. Very productive week.

Sunrise, Sunsit incorporates the pleasure of watching a sunset or sunrise, sitting down while also providing an intricate aspect of shade. This permits park guests to enjoy the beautiful environment of LakeBonnet, mesmerized by the ecosystems and the kinetic machine that we replicated. The simple mechanism only requires a rotation of the bottom (large) gears, connected to the top (small) gears by a rope chain, revolving the dowel that withholds the panels.
