How do schools partner with us?
NuVu's model allows schools to quickly and effectively plug into our program as a resource for students to develop essential 21st century skills, for teachers to learn how to incorporate these skills into their classrooms, and for administrators to launch innovation labs or makerspaces in their schools. Schools partner with us via two main routes:
1. Term/Semester Away Program
Schools from around the Boston/Cambridge area (as well as schools located outside the area) can partner with us through our Term/Semester Away Program. Through this route, partner schools send a group of students to NuVu for a full term or semester during the academic year. Immersed full-time from 9am-3pm, Monday through Friday, students have an opportunity to delve into real world topics and grow as designers. Students connect with experts (we call them "Coaches") in an environment that fosters a holistic design approach. Working within NuVu's studio model, students synthesize ideas, core subjects, skills, technology, and entrepreneurship, while designing solutions to real-world, complex challenges. After having gone through an intensive and enriching creative experience at NuVu, students return to their schools and life with the creative confidence to bring their ideas and skills to their continued learning.

Our Partners
Beaver Country Day School
Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, USA
We started NuVu because of our partnership with Beaver. They have been great supporters and collaborators on this ambitious project. Through our partnership, Beaver sends 20 students every Term to NuVu.
MIT Department of Architecture
Through a collaboration with the architecture school at MIT, we run a residential summer program on the MIT campus.
Cambridge Montessori School
The whole 8th grade class will spend the winter trimester at NuVu.
Inly School
We started NuVu because of our partnership with Beaver. They have been great supporters and collaborators on this ambitious project. Through our partnership, Beaver sends 20 students every Term to NuVu.
Cambridge Rindge & Latin Public High School
Through our partnership, students at CRLS can attend NuVu for a full Semester during the academic year. We also partnered with CRLS to host part of our Summer 2016 NuBots Program at CRLS.
The Cambridge School of Weston
We have a Cooperative Enrollment Program in partnership with CSW. Students from CSW can also attend NuVu for a full Mod during the academic year.
American School of Bombay
Mumbai, India
We run several studio programs (Studio 6 and Summer Intersession) and summits (TRAI) during the year at ASB.
